| About Us
The Action Advocate office works very hard requesting evidence, doing appeals, preparing your case for hearing and meeting critical deadlines. An informed and educated client is our most valuable asset to preparing a case and heading into court for the win. We strive to give helpful tips and sound advice throughout the Social Security and Disability claims review process, therefore please pay special attention to the follow tips:
A.There are several reasons that you should call us
| |
1. You have not heard anything from Social Security or our office in over 90 days;
2. You have any telephone calls from Social Security;
3. You received any letters or notices from Social Security;
4. You return to work;
5. Your address or telephone number changes; and / or
6. You receive any money from Social Security.
|
B. It is very important that we are kept aware of your current medical treatment. Thus, if we do not feel that the records would help win your case early, we may wait and request the records at the time of your hearing.
C. Please remember to get the name and phone number of any person you talk with from Social Security. Also, please note the time and date of the call. It is very hard for Action Advocate, Inc. to follow-up for you if there is a problem and we do not know whom you have spoken to.
Lynne Sizemore is the advocate who will represent you in your claim for disability benefits. Ms. Sizemore meets with you as a new client and meets with you again approximately two to four weeks before the hearing. During the appeal process, your claim will be handled by your paralegal. |
